Peer Tutors for the five-course, interdisciplinary Core Curriculum are available at the Core Tutoring Center (located within the Center for Academic Development). Tutors are also available in the core substitutions for the science core course. Core Tutors have been nominated by their faculty based on academic achievement and interpersonal skills.
Tutors are trained by the Core Tutor Coordinator and conduct tutoring sessions in the Center. Core tutors also conduct review sessions and attend the class for which they are tutoring in order to keep current with class readings and assignments, class discussions, and lectures. These services are provided at no additional charge to the student. Tutors' schedules are available at the Center for Academic Development.
