Center For Academic Development

Academic Development at Roger Williams University assists all University undergraduates in their efforts to achieve academic success.  The staff practices the theory that student learning takes place through interactions with other students as well as staff and that students learn in and out of the classroom.

In an environment conducive to academic discourse, critical thinking, independent learning and collegiate leadership, Academic Development demonstrates the University's stated mission that we are a "community devoted to teaching and learning."

The Center for Academic Development, located on the second floor of the Library, is comprised of the Math, Writing and Core Tutoring Centers as well as Disability Support Services and academic support.
