Jing knew she wanted a school that offered individual attention in the classroom where she would feel comfortable meeting people and trying new things. RWU was the perfect fit. Originally a Chemistry major, Jing switched to Biology after attending a panel discussion with Partners In Health’s Paul Farmer and Jim Yong Kim. She added a minor in Anthropology+Sociology to gain perspective for her interest in global health, and landed internships with NYU’s Center for the Study of Asian-American Health and the Asian Liver Center at Stanford. On campus, Jing served as an RA, an Orientation Advisor for international students, president of the Asian Students Association and also found time to assist with faculty research. Jing is pursuing her passion to make a difference on a global scale. What will you do?
