Reason & Respect: A Journal of Civil Discourse at Roger Williams University is a bi-annual online publication that explores the possibilities and implications of civil and enlightened discourse. Reason & Respect offers another intellectual venue where students, faculty, administration, and staff consider a range of viewpoints on a variety of topics. The fact that we will not always agree is a function of a vibrant and diverse university—one in which differences of opinion should be welcomed and divergence of thought should be encourage. The editors invite the entire Roger Williams community to participate in this endeavor.
