On October 15, 2013, LPI released an info graphic titled “Work in Progress: Latinos in the RI Workforce” in partnership with the Economic Progress Institute. The info graphic revealed that as the fastest growing ethnic group in Rhode Island, Latinos will play a more prominent role in the future of the state’s workforce and economic growth.
In order for Latinos to play a bigger role in RI’s labor force there needs to be an opportunity to close the education and skills gaps. To view the full info graphic and learn more about the findings, please submit a publication request.
LPI has launched their first blog! The blog is focused on the fastest growing demographic in Rhode Island: Latinos. By reading our blog, you will learn more about Latinos living in Rhode Island effected by one of LPI’s four focus points: Education, Health, Workforce, or Immigration.
