It is now November, and with Thanksgiving break around the corner, it is important to know how to prepare for finals, which will quickly sneak up on you by the time you get back from break. Whether you have one final or five, it is important that you prepare well ahead of time and are mindful in your habits. It has taken me some time and experience, but I have finally figured out a plan when preparing for finals. Here are ten tips that I believe will help you when it comes to preparing for your finals:

4:00am. BEEP. BEEP. BEEP. Oh no, that’s impossible it’s already time to get up. This is so not going to be fun! After barely getting two hours of sleep, I am hobbling over my own two legs trying to reach for the coffee pot. This is going to be the only thing that might get me through my statistics test. After sitting down for a few minutes sipping on my coffee, I try to convince myself that maybe my professor will end up canceling the test last minute or that I can come up with a great excuse about a terrible illness I contracted. ANYTHING will be better than taking this exam in three hours when I have no recollection of the information I studied last night. This was a terrible idea; I don’t know how I’m going to make it through the test.
