If I don't have a parking permit, can I just leave a note or put my flashers on if I need to load or unload at a campus building?

No—leaving a note or putting on your flashers will not prevent you from receiving a citation. To protect yourself, please be sure to get a load/unload pass from the main entrance Public Safety officer.
Note: All Campus parking is considered 'Open Parking' after 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday and on weekends.  However, all vehicles must still be registered with Campus Safety and display a RWU parking permit or temporary hangtag.  All students must vacate Faculty/Staff and Visitor lots by 7:00 a.m., Monday through Friday.  All students bearing designated colored permits must have their vehicles back in their designated lots by 7:00 a.m., Monday through Friday.  Most citations that students receive could have been avoided if the students had taken the time to read the parking regulations in their student handbook.
