The Web Advisory Council (WAC) reviews plans and recommends strategy for the management and development of web communications at Roger Williams University.

The WAC provides leadership on web policy issues, functions as a board of members for the University’s Web Developers' Group and provides representation for all of the University's schools and major administrative departments.

Specifically, the WAC:

• Plans and establishes policies & procedures for the RWU.EDU web space including the management and development of its infrastructure, websites, name spaces and servers.
  
  
• Establishes and enforces editorial, style and development guidelines and web standards, addresses legal issues, and makes available accurate and updated information about the Roger Williams University website and its infrastructure.

The WAC is also responsible for generating a bi-annual RWU Web & Electronic Communications Strategic Plan.
